Welcome to Fitznells

Fitznells is a friendly organisation that has been associated with music in Epsom and Ewell since 1960. Whatever your musical experience or background you are bound to find something that interests you.
All our instrumental tutors are highly experienced and concerts are regularly held for both the youngest pupils and most experienced performers.
Free Brass lessons
Our brass teacher, Chris Guy, is offering a free half term's lessons to anyone who is interested. Chris teaches the trumpet, trombone, French horn, tenor horn and euphonium/baritone. Open to all ages, get in touch if you want to give it a blow!
Sheila Colchester
We are sad to announce that Sheila Colchester passed away at the end of February. Sheila was Musical Director of Fitznells from 1989 - 2011 and really made Fitznells what it is today. She was a great inspiration to many and a really brilliant teacher, with a fierce passion for music and for passing that passion onto others. Rest assured Fitznells is still going strong and will continue to do so!

Men - We Want You!
We are looking to start a men's choir to complement our successful ladies' choir, the DIVAs. If you are interested in joining, please contact us. No experience necessary.
What we do
Classes start for children over two years old and the flexible lesson times are great for a busy life, taking place in the evening and weekends.
Individual instrumental lessons for piano, brass, woodwind, singing etc take place every evening between 4pm and 9pm.
The Saturday morning music club has a Cafe where parents and pupils can relax or play games between lessons.
Fitznells' celebrated percussion classes are an essential early start to musical education, combining great preparation for more formal lessons and great fun! Pupils can now progress to ABRSM exams in percussion.
Recorder lessons are a great way to start instrumental playing and all the Saturday classes are tailored to individual requirements to give each child the best help.
The Saturday Starlets vocal group has recently been relaunched as Starlets and Tenors to include boys who love to sing. They have performed at Fairfield Halls and Sutton Festival and of course in our regular concerts at Fitznells.
The Drama team run very popular Musical Theatre weeks in the summer holidays which finish with a show for parents and friends.
ABRSM Grade 5 Theory Crash Courses also run in the holidays and have proved extremely effective!
The DIVAS women's group meet on a Thursday evening 7-8.30 for a relaxed singing workout.
The Friday Wind Band will welcome new members of all ages.
All in all there is plenty to inspire you at Fitznells - go to the top of the page and explore the links!
