Individual Tuition

General Information

Individual instrumental lessons have always been at the heart of Fitznells. Being held after the normal school day or on Saturdays means parents can easily liaise with the tutor and keep in contact.

Lessons for very young students can be 20 minutes but most are normally a half hour long. For more advanced grades they often need to be 45 minutes or an hour.

We have highly experienced tutors for:

- Piano

- Keyboard

- Trumpet

- Trombone

- Clarinet

- Saxophone

- Flute (including Jazz Grades)

- Violin

- Percussion

- Ukulele

- Violin

- Singing

Lessons normally lead to taking exams but that is not the right way for all and some students thrive without that formality.

Performance is an important part of making music and concerts are regularly held to give opportunities for everyone from the youngest pupils to the most experienced performers.

Making music with others can be the most rewarding experience of all so joining ensembles for singing, woodwind, brass and strings is very much encouraged.
